Description
The GRUNDFOS factory-made CM and CME type pump is a horizontal, multistage pump, stainless (blades - deflection blades - shaft), non-automatic suction, direct connection of the motor rotor with the pump shaft with the stepper shaft, ). The CM (= Centrifugal Modular] pump has two main features, compact size and modulation, which enable multiple configurations. Basically, the pump consists of a series of interchangeable units, which are designed to work seamlessly, regardless of the application. The CM pump type is available with asynchronous short-circuit rotor motors, single-phase and three-phase, 50 or 60Hz, air-cooled. The motors that are installed on the CM pumps, are from the factory of GRUNDFOS, of high efficiency and low power consumption, and are made according to the European Standards. The CM pump type is also available with motors with integrated power converter (INVERTER) for maximum power savings during operation. CM and CME pumps are available in cast iron or stainless steel (stainless steel according to AISI 304 / DIN 1.4301, suitable for water and non-corrosive fluids, and stainless steel according to AISI 316 / DIN 1.4401, offering a high degree of anti-corrosion resistance)
