HYDRO MPC

The GRUNDFOS Hydro MPC booster systems are designed to transfer or increase clean water pressure in water supply networks, such as Hotels, Apartment Buildings, Commercial Buildings, Hospitals, Schools, etc. Hydro MPC pressure units consist of 2-6 pumps (CRE pumps / CME pumps) in parallel connection, mounted on a metal base, assembled with all the necessary hydraulic equipment, and ready for use. The hydraulic equipment includes suction and depression collectors (galvanized or stainless steel), ball valves at the inlet and outlet of each pump, check valves at the outlet of each pump, and a pressure sensor. Each individual system, after being assembled, is tested in GRUNDFOS' special test facilities and adjusted according to the user's needs.

Hydro MPC pressure units are produced in 4 different versions:

• MPC-E, where all the pumps in the unit are Inverter. Inverter units are either built-in units on the motor or external Inverter units mounted inside the panel.
• MPC-F, where one or more, or even all pumps are Inverter, with external Inverter units mounted inside the panel.
• MPC-S, where all pumps are with single motor (without Inverter) and the operation of the unit is done via pressure switches.
• MPC-SERIES 2000, where all pumps are with built-in Inverter in the engine but are made for heating & air conditioning applications.
• Grundfos Hydro MPC pressure units are manufactured to the highest standards. Thanks to the CU 352 controller, they handle even the most difficult applications with ease and precision. All components have been combined for quality and performance. Each pressure unit is designed to meet specific customer requirements for capacity and control. Intelligent graduated control ensures the operation of the optimal number of pumps required to meet demand, at all times. Together with CR with IE3 engines, this makes the Hydro MPC the most energy efficient solution for maintaining pressure during changing flow demand.
